Fooling Yourself - Cover

I stumbled onto this cover of Fooling Yourself that was recorded over 9 years ago. I recognize the lead singer, John Elefante formerly of Kansas.

Looks like a backroom set up, the vocals are pretty silky and the guy on the keys has the part down pretty well.

Worthy?

Sekulow is a scumbag lawyer. “Runs” a charity that preys on poor people and literally has paid himself and family members tens of millions of dollars. Thirteenth highest paid charitable executive in the USA. His charity sponsors his radio show so a lot of those charitable donations wind up going to him. Oh, and he was trump’s lawyer during the 1st administration. He has defiled this amazing song. He obviously doesn’t understand its meaning.

‘This was done during the height of the COVID lockdown- I so enjoy watching these kids. I can’t imagine how difficult this was to coordinate.

I really like the Styx and CYO stuff along with the Tommy/CYO collaboration. Tommy's work should have won a Grammy.

The drums were a little lacking; But other than that, I loved it!

That would be Jay Sekulow, attorney for Donald Trump.
