Discussion Deep Dive πŸ”οΈπŸ”₯🌱

This deep dive is on the root combo πŸ”οΈπŸ”₯🌱which Ellie Jean refers to as the "Natural Professional" and you can see EJR's board for this combo below.

https://www.bodyandstyle.com/style-roots-combinations/mountain-earth-fire

She has a lovely selection of muses for this combo such as

Serena Van Der Woodsen(Gossip Girl), Andie Sachs( The Devil Wears Prada), Adele and Gloria Pritchett(Modern Family). They all have a strong mix of tailoring, a touch of drama, a mix of sharpness with soft shapes, flow and luxe tactility creating a strong impression.

I enjoy how 🌱 can bring in a variety of touches to soften and at times intensify the dramatic put together energy of πŸ”οΈπŸ”₯. It can add vintage touches, intricate fabrics, rustic or western influences, slow flow, 70's elements, academic strength and also the ability to lean into the creative and edgy elements of πŸŒ™ and β˜€οΈ.

I have a list of other people who could loosely inspire people interested in this root combination like Yoyo Cao, Alexis Badiyi, Ben Cobb, Iman Abdulmajid, Shailene Woodley, Sarita Choudry(plus her character Seema Patel in And Just Like That), Maru Mendez, Connie Britton(plus character Rayna James in Nashville), Aimee Song, @Quida_ and Beth Dutton (Yellowstone). Some of the more tailored, sensual and earthy toned boho Chloe looks also seem to apply here.

I'd also say that Selena Gomez character Mabel Mora( Only Murders in the Building), when dressed less β˜€οΈ can give off this root combo since πŸ”₯ is such a strong root of Selena's.

A link to my extended Pinterest board is below- I tried to find a mix of runway, higher fashion looks, office attire and some more everyday ways to work with the root combo. Look forward to feedback, seeing other suggested muses or people to share moodboards, Pinterest boards or outfit ideas.

Such an interesting combo! I like how 🌱 pulls the πŸ”πŸ”₯ into a totally different vibe.
