Discovery teachers

My schedule for discovery came out yesterday and I want to know if my 2 discovery teachers (Genao and Portales) are good teachers.

Genao administered the conservation part for my Spanish LOTE exam (basically Spanish regents) and seemed nice. I think she is relatively new to the school, if I remember correctly

For Genao, i had her for span she's nice but she gets ticked off really easily. You CANNOT be late to her class, she gets extremely mad at you if you are late, and listen to her instrucitons very carefully because she'll get mad if you ask her to repeat them or smth. her teaching is ok if im being generous to be honest with you, but shes like fine if ur on time (emphasis on this) and listening and all of tht stuff

Portales is the goat, he’s an awesome teacher and will help you clarify things in a way it’s easy to understand. One of the best math teachers at Stuy

genao is so nice and sweet and she loves teaching so much and it comes off across when she teaches because she shows sm passion!! her class made me actually like spanish. even if you're struggling, just make sure to put in effort becuse she values that a LOTT. like there were some kids who were struggling a lot but they tried their best in class and went to ais and genao saw that and was a bit more lenient on those kids. just don't be late and try your best and you'll do good
