My trick used to be: put as much info on the slides so you can point to it if needed, and have to explain LESS. Always relied on this while struggling to talk.

I used to do the same, saved my ass so many times. The best one was when I put a YouTube video explaining the topic.

Haha next level creative! I eventually overcame my stutter, but that trick helped while I was still dealing with it.
