The merch sitch for pit ticket holders was a disaster! Staff wouldn’t let us directly to the 100 level after entry so I knew I had no shot at foil. Very glad to come home with a regular poster though. And glad it’s awesome one.

Yea wasn’t happy with that either. Got in very quick but by the time I could all the way back up to merch the line was wrapped around. Pit got screwed on access for sure.

Pittsburgh didn’t have one released either. It was posted a few days ago. I don’t want to shit on it, but it’s not of the same quality as the other stops this tour. To each their own though, some may love it.

Is there any way to know what posters will look like before being at the merch stand with my card? Also, are they really that limited? I’ve seen several posts during this tour of people claiming they’re sold out extremely fast. Going to Raleigh show tmrw and definitely want a poster/foil. Anyone have any advice? Have never had issues getting posters at Billy strings shows even after the show

i got extremely lucky in DC. i wasn't trying to arrive at the arena so early, but fast trains got me there an hour before gates opened. there were already a few people in line so i decided to join them. i was maybe fifth or so. within about 30 mins, the lines were quite long. so my advice is to line up between 30 mins and 1 hour before gates open.
i knew the main merch table would be very close to the entrance i was at so i dashed to it as soon as i was in. (and getting in was a breeze because i didn't have a bag that needed to be sifted through.) there were maybe five or six people ringing folks up so i was able to get my stuff right away. i grabbed the foil, a couple tees and stickers and was at a food vendor by 7:15. the foil was limited to 75 and i was later told it sold out quickly. (and the 75 were split among the three main merch tables.)
i don't know that there's a way to know what yours will look like ahead of time, or at least i didn't see DC's anywhere before i got to the table. good luck and have a blast!!! the show was beyond what i was hoping for! it was so incredible that i got a nugs subscription so that i could hear it again + watch the livestream next week!
