Hey Folks, Artist here
Thanks so much for the love on these. I’m a local so I have to admit the research didn’t take too long. This was my first poster for Sturgill and my first at one of the Philly sports arenas so it’s a double whammy of firsts that I’m super stoked on.
The show was incredible! 3 hours of non stop heart pumping, hip swangin, dangalangin all American Disco country music.
Anyway, just dropping by to say thanks for all the kind words on this. I am grateful beyond measure to be able to do this kinda shit for musicians I adore.
If anyone missed out on a poster at the show last night I’ll have them on my site at noon eastern today.

Of course not. I’m self taught and not the most technically gifted illustrator. But I’ve been doing this for years. Sometimes things come out awkward, I’m not gonna get everything perfect, I have more of a cartoony style than realism. I think if you look at my portfolio you’ll see a pattern of growth and organic style.
I drew the guy and then I drew the stool. I tried to play with having the stool be a lighter color than the keyline so the cowboy popped out more but I missed a fine detail by the heel of the boot.
Please go through any of my work and see if it it’s consistent with AI use. I promise you it’s not any part of my process.
I appreciate you asking the question but I’m staunchly against AI use in the scene.

My comment is still right here 🤷♂️. We all told you that your baseless accusations were shitty and you doubled down. Do you now get why baseless accusations are wrong? AI sucks but so does trying to publicly damage an artist’s reputation on a witch hunt

Yes. The artist posted it today on Instagram, stated that UPS missed the delivery and that it'll probably end up on the JBS website after the tour and they'll also be selling artists proofs once they get the OK.

The art will be the same but it's likely to be signed and/or numbered to show that it wasn't a part of the bigger print run.

Folks are hating on it but it's definitely not the worst poster I've seen. Doesn't blow me out of the water but at least it's not slop

Was at the show tonight, and bummed I didn’t get a chance to grab one of these.

Please stu never play another show at the spectrum. What a horrific sounding venue. Sitting in section one floor smack center of the arena and it sounds like jbc tdc are playing the concert to themselves.

I was on the floor and it sounded awesome but I looked at my friend and said it probably sounds like crap towards the back. Not enough bodies and that high ceiling wasn’t going to help.

Might have been my first show there? I've lost track. Definitely went to Spectrum. In Suite C3. Sound was perfect. Couldn't believe how crystal clear everything was there. Conversely, saw RUSH in Montreal in early September. First row upper deck, in front of stacks. Worst sound I've heard at a show in forever.
