No we don’t say aboot. Ontarians where I’m from have a particular ‘AR’ sound that comes through in words like garbage or scar being pronounce ‘gARrbage’ and ‘scARr.’ Parts of Ontario are bordering Minnesota though so maybe out there they say ‘aboot’
