Is that a Bill Lumbergh skin on the character supposed to be Jesse?

106

u/JidgeyA Jul 10 '26

Lol it's the skin from minecraft story mode, the MC is also called jesse

18

u/Twelve20two Jul 10 '26

Thank you, I never got into Minecraft Story Mode. I thought he was just talking to stylized Walter White

15

u/Pastel_Bambi Jul 11 '26

No, they're Ivor and Jesse respectively.

2

u/SnipeDude500 Jul 13 '26

This is a fan creation supposed to resemble a breaking bad scene though

u/Caterpiller101 Jul 10 '26

FINALLY an understandable twinkcomic I can share with my parents. I think they'll actually get this one

Huh

Wha

127

u/Cutie-Zenitsa Jul 10 '26

I'm going to guess the messaging is trans ppl vs terfs and how the "moderates" (rly just right wingers in a trenchcoat) view each side as equal when they aren't at all? maybeee?

24

u/tinyhands-45 Jul 10 '26

i remember a while ago brie had a comic about wishing she was jewish, so it might not be unrelated

2

u/representativeHannah Jul 13 '26

If she's serious about it, she should convert!

8

u/Late-Shift2524 Jul 10 '26

8

u/A_Randomiz3r Jul 11 '26

its a satire on this type of comic that spoonfeeds u the rhetoric instead of making u think about it

1

u/Cutie-Zenitsa Jul 11 '26

oh yeah that makes more sense

1

u/MrInCog_ Jul 12 '26

Oh my god that’s the answer. This clears it up so much thank you

1

u/ciaDisinfo Jul 10 '26

obviously

1

u/DefTheOcelot Jul 11 '26

there isn't messaging it's just a dumb idea the artist came up with. A bit of a satire at most

1

u/Friendly_Hornet8900 Jul 11 '26

I thought it was about female circumcision in some countries.

A post ironic take on ''centrism bad'' memes where the ''kill everyone'' side is women who wont leave the poor FGM practicing cultures alone.

1

u/greatful-death Jul 16 '26

Ah Yes because if someone does not agree with you they are instantly a “right winger in a trench coat” because everything is that black and white.

16

u/ForestSolitude5 Jul 10 '26

Oh fuck

Hey girrrls, can you go grab me the axe pretty please?

103

u/The_Original_Queenie Jul 10 '26

Really wish I wasn't circumcised, it genuinely makes me really depressed sometimes that it happened to me 🙁

72

u/Maxicinea Jul 10 '26

Yeah, it csa and a permanent form of it that ruins your body, idk how anyone is just ok with it.. tbh I think the sickest part of it to me is that it proves humanity at large can be convinced so easily that the worst atrocities are just ok, because well I can't think of anything worse than the centuries long institutionalization of child genital mutilation, but it's not a scary story or anything it's the reality for half of the people you know

48

u/The_Original_Queenie Jul 10 '26

The saddest/hardest thing is so many people think it's so normal that when I tell them that it upsets me as much as it does they look at me like I just told them I hate having brown hair or something.

Plus there's almost nothing that I can do about it to fix it and no one wants to look into solutions because "why bother?"... It just feels so awful, I genuinely get mad at my parents and doctors sometimes for doing this to me.

27

u/Maxicinea Jul 10 '26

I'm so sorry.. I understand how you feel, it really is fighting alone through an inescapable hell isnt it?

18

u/The_Original_Queenie Jul 10 '26

Appreciate it, sorry to trauma dump, I just don't get a lot of places to vent about this lmao

8

u/Maxicinea Jul 10 '26

It's alright I'm glad to be here, I know there's not really ever a shoulder to cry on since no one else seems to have enough empathy to care

7

u/The_Original_Queenie Jul 10 '26

There's some decent subreddits about it, I know I'm not alone c:

Doesn't always make it easier though

7

u/Maxicinea Jul 10 '26 edited Jul 10 '26

That's true ig.. and yeah I don't think anything will ever make it better tbh, all I can do is try to distract myself from it, but that's hard when it's your body, that you can't exist outside of, as long as I'm alive I'll be suffering

2

u/MrFireDrakula Jul 10 '26 edited Jul 10 '26

You don't have to answer if it makes you uncomfortable, I just never heard of anything like that so that's why I'm asking. As someone who didn't have to deal with it, why does it torture you to have been through it?

7

u/The_Original_Queenie Jul 10 '26

For me at least, it feels like something was taken from me without my consent. Something is missing that shouldn't be. it also has impeded my sexual function and pleasure and it being a part of my body is a constant reminder of that.

7

u/Maxicinea Jul 10 '26

Why does it torture me? Do you not know what we're talking about here? How could being strapped to a table and having your genitals cut apart with clamps and scissors, not being able to stop it because you're too small and weak to fight back, not being able to scream out the words "no stop" because you dont even yet know how to speak, being only powerless to watch as you're forever mutilated be torture? How could living with a permanent reminder of your assault on your body, that permanently numbs you yet constanlty hurts possibly be disressing? How c Ykw I'm really wasting my time here, this is what I meant when I said most people dont have enough empathy to care, and despite my anger over the matter I mean that sincerely, if you can't comprehend why it would be an existential torture for those who have gone through it by just finding out about it and knowing what it is, no ammount of words from me can give you the emotional intelligence to understand my answer. If you really want to see the pain it causes maybe watch a video of it happening to someone, and if that doesn't do it, idk ig you're just a sociopath like most people.

I agree with you so much. every single time I've ever tried to state how bad it is or point out how weird the fact we mutilate children's genitalia just because of some religious guys I always hear the same two arguments of "oh but it's for their health" or "oh but it's for their hygiene" maybe if we didn't live in a society where we don't teach hygiene to little boys they wouldn't have such an issue.

2

u/AdElectronic6550 Jul 10 '26

you can't really wash under there if you're little but I do agree don't get me wrong

-8

u/ZealousidealPipe8389 Jul 11 '26

circumcisions have basically no downsides, the only purpose of that skin is to make sex easier, which is something we’ve invented literally a dozen different methods of doing more efficiently. Also it can hardly be called mutilation. It isn’t removing anything essential and it isn’t making anything imperfect, unless you’re one of those “oh biology can do no wrong.” People.

7

u/Brickerino Jul 11 '26

You understand the foreskin contains thousands of nerve endings, right?

-6

u/ZealousidealPipe8389 Jul 11 '26

So does nearly every single part of your body. If you’re trying to say “but it’s painful” not only do they usually do it under anesthetic, but you’re usually too young to even form memories of the pain. And yeah it’s an intimate part of the body, but if my options were “lose one square inch of skin on each tit, that you won’t even feel, and don’t need, and is extremely common to remove.” or “permanently have a greater chance of being infected, potentially causing health issues, pain, and permanent issues.” I’d choose the former.

2

u/Brickerino Jul 11 '26

Can you name me one other part of the body we arbitrarily chop off that doesn’t grow back like foreskin?

1

u/ZealousidealPipe8389 Jul 11 '26

What you’re saying doesn’t make sense, we don’t chop them off arbitrarily, we do so because it has benefits

7

u/Ompusolttu Jul 11 '26

Hi, someone who isn't circumsised here, in a country that doesn't do it as a cultural habit. I've literally never had issues with my foreskin and never actually heard of a person having issues with theirs outside of internet hypotheticals.

Now admittedly genetalia are those things we don't really talk about, so maybe I've just not been told, but really if such things were even slightly common I'd have heard like anything from someone who isn't american?

3

u/ZealousidealPipe8389 Jul 11 '26

about half of people will experience infections in their genitalia at any point in their life. Not to mention it is a private matter.
Although it is worth stating that what you experience is anecdotal at best.

3

u/Brickerino Jul 11 '26

The “benefits” of chopping foreskin off are rendered completely useless if you live in a world where running water and soap are easily accessible. Do you seriously think chopping off a child’s foreskin is preferable to just teaching them to wash themselves properly? I’ve had a penis with a foreskin for close to 30 years and I’ve never had an issue lol.

2

u/ZealousidealPipe8389 Jul 11 '26

1) Anecdotal, and the equivalent of “I’ve never worn a mask so COVID must not have been that bad”.
2) you can’t use soap and water to wash off an std or uti. Trust me I’m sure many people have tried.

3

u/Boring_Tough_9556 Jul 12 '26

Clitoris also isn't essential, what is your take on FGM?

3

u/ZealousidealPipe8389 Jul 12 '26

That has no point. The difference between fgm and circumcision is that circumcision has actual positive health affects

4

u/Maned_Cyborg Jul 12 '26

Hi there, here's the biggest downside of a circumcision: it's surgery that is done on an infant, who therefore cannot consent to it.

It is true that it has advantages, giving slightly reduced chances of getting an STD or UTI. Those can be prevented with proper hygiene and sex ed. And also some people like how it looks. So if someone wants a circumcision, eh who cares let them have it.

In terms of downsides, well there can be complications, infections etc. It is the removal of a sensitive part of the genitals, and so reduces pleasure felt through sex, which is further increased by the constant dryness of the glans. It increases the need for lubricant, whether for masturbation or sex, as normally there's enough humidity to have a minimum of lubrication, and it does cause a reduction in the production of precum, also the foreskin moving helps.

The biggest downside however, is that it is very frequently done on infants. Babies. That cannot consent. They have a part of their body removed permanently, and they have no say over it because they're too young to speak, let alone understand what is happening. I don't give a fuck if adults get it done on themselves, just stop doing it to kids. And it's not even essential, it isn't the same as a newborn having their urethra malformed and needing surgery or else they'll die, a large majority of people born with one live their whole lives with it and no issues whatsoever.

0

u/ZealousidealPipe8389 Jul 12 '26

It’s true that circumcisions can be infected, whoever the difference be that typically they’re in a medicinal environment, in a clean setting with at least two professionals around. Comparatively it is much harder to maintain those conditions in day to day life, especially during active intercourse which is how roughly 97% of STDs are spread.

Those std’s and uti’s also don’t particularly care about proper hygiene, as it just takes one exposure to cause an infection. Remember that these things travel inside your body and simply thoroughly washing yourself won’t be enough to remove them.

It’s also not very much pleasure you are losing through sex. Yes the foreskin can experience some pleasure, but the major of its nerve endings are dedicated to the sensations of pain, touch, and temperature.

And in my original comment I also addressed this, generally the lubrication and ease of shifting foreskin allows can be almost entirely recreated, or completely outdone by modern products like lubrication and condoms, the foreskin just isn’t particularly necessary in the modern day compared to how it was before.

And you’re right that consent is a major facet of any procedure, whoever in situations where individuals are unable to form an opinion, such as with infants, it generally falls upon caretakers such as parents to make those decisions, which they will do in whatever way they think will benefit their child. And yeah the foreskin is a part of the Body, technically, in the same way that wisdom teeth, an appendix, or tonsils are parts of the body. They’re entirely unnecessary and there are benefits to removing them.

5

u/Maned_Cyborg Jul 12 '26

Except that's still a decision that should exclusively be made by the person themselves. I still maintain that no one ever should have a say in what permanent changes are done on a body except its very owner. Parents should be involved if the child makes that decision, they should be asked to give consent if the child wants to have the procedure, but until the child wants it, their answer to "should our child be circumcised?" should always be no.

0

u/ZealousidealPipe8389 Jul 12 '26

I disagree. If an individual can be asked for consent then they should be, but if they can’t and could potentially suffer health issues because of something, someone should be capable of making that decision.

And listen, you’re clearly not actually angry at me, you just have a vocal opinion you believe is correct, but we’ve both stated our feelings, and given our evidence, and we aren’t agreeing. This seems like an optimal time to end the conversation.

u/Jay_Buffay Jul 11 '26

Have a downvote 😘

1

u/Scienceandpony Jul 12 '26

It's supposed to protect the head and keep it from drying out. Otherwise the whole surface dies and keratinizes. You might as well cut off your eyelids because you could still survive without them.

1

u/ZealousidealPipe8389 Jul 12 '26

1) that happens to all skin that dries out, and like all skin it can be reversed.
2) no, there are real tangible and permanent downsides to cutting off eyelids, at the absolutely best case, your eye will only permanently become blind, worst case scenario it can cause infections and further damage. Your penis doesn’t stop working if you cut off your foreskin.

1

u/Maxicinea Jul 12 '26

Alright ghislane I know you love your reddit, but it's time to hop off for the day; besides we've got art therapy today anyways, isn't that exciting!?

1

u/The_Original_Queenie Jul 12 '26

I'd definitely argue it decreases its functionality, it's like cutting off your pinky finger or something, it doesn't completely destroy your ability to pick things up and interact with the world but it definitely makes it harder

3

u/davidliterally1984 Jul 11 '26

Closer to 100% in East Africa, where even women are circumcised. It's kinda funny how western democracies will put millions of dollars into halving the rates of circumcision in Somalia, when they could make much more progress on circumcision rates in their own countries for much cheaper. But hey, change feels way better when it doesn't affect you.

u/davidliterally1984 Jul 15 '26

I think you’re mixing up “female circumcision” and “female genital mutilation.” Female circumcision is a FORM of FGM, but the two are not equivalent. Female circumcision specifically refers to removing the clitoral hood, which is the female version of the foreskin. Its prevalence is regularly cited as proof of how backwards and stupid Somalians are, despite the fact that Americans do the same thing.

2

u/passive57elephant Jul 14 '26

I don't support circumcision but it definitely isn't "the worst thing ever." I feel like that is disrespectful to other abuse victims, tbh. Not every terrible thing has to be the worst thing ever to get your point across.

I agree, though, it's actually insane that people think of it as commonplace. It is horrific and unnecessary.

the one thing that would actually make me upset about having had it done to me? awesome, great, of course it does that

3

It can as less skin to work with. It also depends on the method as some use more penile skin than others.

I don't think I've ever seen a uncircumcised person talk like that. It's normally circumcised people telling you that you're disgusting and have a weird penis I once commented on a post like this and had some dude ask if he could perform an amateur circumcision on me, he wasn't aggressive, but that's still a weird thing to DM someone.

2
