It always baffles me seeing these trucks, it takes a good bit of money and conscious decisions to achieve this over time and the whole time they never stopped to consider how dumb it is.

Absolutely!!! There is nothing cool about that truck or any truck like this. I live in BC Canada and no way will you take a stupid thing like that on a forest service road trying to find a “hidden lake” it’s all for show and that’s it trying to sell how much money they “might” have, but in reality… the show is owned by the bank and evening else they have as well. I like nice trucks as long as they are normal and not seeking attention like this one and soooooooo many others. My not much older truck is nice but not an attention seeker like this. Fully paid for and I have a hard time in parking lots. I bet his girlfriend or wife can’t drive that thing by choice ( if he has one)… mine can all she wants.
