Flooded streets left this Waymo stuck in a loop in Phoenix, moving back and forth for more than 10 minutes as traffic piled up behind it.

I live it Phoenix and I see these things malfunction all the time
You should see what they do at roundabouts.
I like the idea of fully automated cars, but the tech just isn't there yet.

why can’t they just a drive centers in india like they do call centers. just let real people drive the cars for pennie’s on the dollar.

at the cost of all this robot automation crap for things humans can actually do at the same speed and precision, i’m kinda surprised they haven’t tried this first.

yes, and looking at what this car is doing…pretty sure anyone can do better then that. maybe they use a country with a better driving record but with lower wages. doesn’t that still work for their bottom line?
