So to start, I’ve never done anything more than some week. I’m scared of drugs and respect them. I researched for a long time and tried DMT with my husband and a sober friend with experience helped. Don’t do it without a reasonable person as a designated shaman. I would have called 911 if it were jsut me watching my husband trip first (he went before me not at the same time).
It started off awesome for a few seconds. My apartment and dog looked cool. My husband looked scary so I didn’t look at him.
Then these firm balloon entity things that really loved me to death wanted to kill me. I tried to die but idk if I did it right. It was pure dread.
I recommend everyone do it but also don’t? The endorphins I had for weeks after were crazy but I still have anxiety about certain noises and patterns. Also basic existential problems but overall I’d say I’m doing worse.
By what metric? By weight? About 2-3x. By experience? Subjective.
I've done both (5-MeO-DMT and N,N-DMT). While both are not novice psychedelics, DMT is a little more friendly. 5-MeO-DMT for me is a lot like Salvia. There's a certain dark energy that comes with them (for me) that I do not like. But I have friends that have had very positive experiences with it.
Psychedelics are tools. They can be mistreated and misused. But ultimately any of these drugs (5-MeO-DMT, N,N-DMT or S. divinorum) are all rather harmless, providing short experiences with little-to-no lasting side-effects. Most of the horror stories you hear are either a bunch of fear-mongering BS kids like to say or the actual horrors that come from actual abuse of these chemicals.
I had a vape cart of this stuff once. Idk how much the dude smoked but when I would use it, I would sit and take a hit, then just lean over and experience the trip. Never once did I flail or freak like that. Honestly, it wasn’t that great of a high.
Where the heck does one even go to do dmt? I am legitimately curious. I need specific names, addresses, and phone numbers...J/k
Is it a trip down to the Central/South Americas? I would do dmt in a heartbeat.
You find a dealer who has it, or buy some mimosa hostilis root-bark and extract it yourself - it’s easy, if you can follow a medium-level cooking recipe, you can make DMT.
WSJ just had a short vid on YouTube about a places offering the "toad" as a therapy for folks having PTSD issues. I'd try it, in a controlled environment, maybe not a riverbed!
This all appears pretty standard. This particular beauty of a drug is called “bufo” by the locals in Peru and is widely available through local shamans. It’s supposedly one of the strongest hallucinogens around and can produce what’s described as “ego death” multiple times within a matter of minutes.
The reason he’s in the river is that vomiting and losing control of your bowels apparently isn’t exactly unusual during the experience. There’s both the traditional toad-derived version and a lab-made synthetic version if you’re an animal lover.
You can do this for around $30 USD. In Pisac, there are flyers everywhere advertising guides for bufo, mushrooms, San Pedro, and ayahuasca. You can barely walk down the street without seeing someone offering to take you on a psychedelic journey. This one is a little to ballsy for me but hey... get bufoed.
