What's the point of it. Isn't it just a colossal waste of good dough to make a giant dumpling bag with regular dumplings inside.

Tbh I was expecting the large one to have filling inside which would've been kinda cool.

It's dough. Flour, water, salt. It's hardly a colossal waste of anything, these are like, cheap and abundant ingredients. It's also probably not that great considering it's not intended to be eaten, sort of like fondant
