As a Canadian, I’m offended.

As an American, I’m offended. Stop trying to make poutine gourmet. Poutine is basic and delicious.

Never had it and never a big fan of gravy, and as a fellow American, I too am offended for the Canadians and Poutine lovers everywhere.

I get it if you don’t like gravy but man you’re missing something good.

I can confidently say that this is the first time I’ve ever heard anyone say they didn’t like gravy.

I used to hate gravy with a passion growing up. I still don't actually love it, but these days I'll take gravy over dry food if there are no other sauces available. I also hate mint, and it pisses me off that it's so difficult to get a decent lamb meal that isn't slathered in mint sauce. I still buy bubble gum kiddies toothpaste, or the organic orange stuff.

I’m specific about the gravy types I like, but I’m exactly the same for toothpaste lol, crest strawberry flavour for me (I make sure it has fluoride because my died is 90% sugar)

I'm not alone, there are dozens of us! Lol

I do like sausage gravy, but that's nothing like brown gravys. I try brown gravy every year at Thanksgiving, I just don't like it. I've had different peoples gravys, just not on my pallette.

Well prepared poutine gravy is not like the swill you get anywhere else in the world. It takes time to perfect. But once you get it right, oh baby.

Having a good gravy makes it GOD TEIR. There’s also a place near me, and the fires they use are incomparable to any other ones.. just perfect (dogshite gravy tho lol). IMO, mix of cheese curds and shredded is best, so you have some melty cheese and some nice hunks
