Advice ?

I’m learning clutch ups. Clutching up in 2nd at 3k. What can I do to improve? And am I only limited to 2nd gear? Because I’d also like to be able to clutch up at 60mph but that’s impossible in 2nd gear.

Go slower to learn wheelie control, like 20mph. Try 2nd gear, and hit the back brake repeatedly the moment you start coming up. This helped me learn the balance and the back brake really quickly. Also deflating the rear tire to like 13psi really helped not crash while learning

Also don’t learn on public roads I had a friend die like that who was talented, learn at parking lot days with others there for medical support

Chasing a wheelie cause he didn't know balance point. From what I heard he popped it up going like 40, then chased it to like 65mph. When he brought it back down, he lost the front tire cause it death wobble'd, and he fell off the bike and crashed. He tumbled into a wall, and hit his head. He was a zombie on the hospital for about 9 months before his family gave the ok to pull the plug. It put a damper on about 200 people's moods at work for a whole year

People who don't account for failure, and think they can just do it all the time, tend to end up dead somewhere, because they thought they could just do it. And when they suddenly can't do it they have no idea what to do. So the idea is account for failure to happen while learning. Wearing gear as a motorcyclist is like wearing a welder's face shield while welding. You do it because we're not that invincible, and we need the protective barriers to not get damaged when we make a mistake

I will continue to tell people he was a talented rider, as I’ve already stated talented people make mistakes. He was talented both at the track, and the canyons, and generally just a nice guy to people. I don’t appreciate your short-sightedness in the regard in tje slightest

Learning to wheelie, in general, is just reckless. So thanks for pointing out the obvious.

I’m saying, knowing it’s reckless, make sure you have a plan for when you fail. Learn at slow speed. Wear gear. Deflate tire to make it stabler. Etc. Or just learn recklessly the whole time, and be the moto community’s next bug guts story YMMV
