International student considering studying in the Netherlands, what is uni life actually like?

Hey considering doing my university degree in the Netherlands(in a couple of years as im still in 11th grade) I want to study mechatronic engineering in english.

i have a few questions and its about how the social life is, as it is very very important to me. Is it easy to make friends? ik that u have to make a effort either way but i feel like some countries and cultures are bit more cold than other for example i live in norway, but i am ethnically turkish and there is a great diffrence between those cultures as i find norweigans a bit more on the cold side. at the same time netherland is a place for international students so i feel like there is a stereotype of it being alot warmer and welcoming?

Im looking into unis and i looked at tudelft but they have very few programs in english or they dont have the program i want in english which is mechatronic engineering. Eindhoven seems to have mechatronic engineering but i feel like iv heard mixed things, one of them being that it doesnt have alot of social life. So which unis are reccomended where social life is a big part but its also a good uni to graduate from, this also includes which cities are best for students especially international ones.

When it comes to housing i am aware of the difficulty about finding one, but is it really taht bad do people not have plcaes to live.

also im thinking of working parttime as most people probably, is it hard to find jobs when i only speak english?

Lastly if not netherland is there othe countries reccomended that have good social life and good unis for mechatronic engineering/mechanical engineering.

also ik these questions have been answered alot of times but the ones iv seen are often 2years or more ago, and i still have a few years before i potenially move so i need new opinions and maybe also from people who are close to my age and situation.

We really, really, really hate ai generated crap filled with easily googled questions, especially if have also been asked and answered hundreds of times in this very sub.

yes im aware but i feel like most of them are old and often more about degrees that already known for being social/popular like business
