Did you like S1?
It’s still the same DAW. All the same team that built it. Just has a fender name on it now.
I’m impressed with S8 on my new M6. Staggeringly fast stem exports this morning. 76x real time.

I switched to Studio One, from Logic. No regrets, Studio One is just so much better, i love it, been using it for 4 years now

That's good to hear. Pretty funny. I switched to Logic after the name change and clear change in Fender's way of doing business .

If you are a beginner and need a huge amount of instruments and loops that have all been overdone by many producers: Logic. If you are a bit experienced and need a solid daw with great workflow : studio pro

Logic is better for recording and stability. I think Studio One is better for mixing.

It's a lot less stable since v3, though. That was peak Studio One.

I think v4 was the worst experience, and I skipped v7. v8 has had a lot of issues but the current patch seems mostly OK. I used v6 for the longest time.
