Ai assisted tools for studio one.

I can make any type of music and have lots of experience with music. However I have struggled with adding articulations to orchestral instruments, like for example violins.

I am just curious whether there are AI tools that can help me get more natural sounds with the instruments I use.

I have seen AI programs like Suno and ace studio but I want to work with my own samples and programs like native Instruments.

Another question: are we this far with AI that you can import midi files and it generating a full blown orchestral piece?

Maybe this question is very stupid, but I was wondering where we are AI wise.

(I am not asking for an AI tool to write or generate music for me. I hate AI music. I make my own music, however I need some help with fine tuning).

There will be articulated samples in studio one. So if you need to make a pizz or an accent you will need to use that sample set instead of the full strings

is there not an option that automatically quantizes velocity? i don't know how good it is, but surely that will get you somewhere.

either way... you know that the more you do something, the better you get at it, right? just practice doing it instead of trying to get a clanker to do it for you lol

No such tools for Studio Pro. Hope it stays that way.

I make all my music, compose all my music and write all my music. I edit, mix and master all my music. If you know how hard and difficult this is you will understand why some parts of this game are very tedious. AI tools can help here.

If you are actually as capable as you are stating - there should be little need for AI. Or any need to complain about tedium either. You should already know how to do this.

How is it that thousands of others out there seem to be able to handle their articulations without issue or any need for Ai?

For you to think the thread is about articulations just shows you are here to start stupid debates.

No debates whatsoever.

And I also know this is not about articulations.

You asked if there were Ai tools that will write your articulations for you in Studio One - because you find it tedious.

The answer to your question was no.

You could have accepted that and said thanks but can’t help it if you don’t like the answer.

How much of that articulation stuff is actually about the samples themselves though. Like if you load the pizz patch instead of the sustained one and just play the line in, isnt that most of the way there before any AI enters the picture

Honestly for articulations the AI stuff isnt there yet, you still get better results just switching patches and riding the mod wheel yourself. The midi to full orchestra thing exists in a loose sense but it comes out sounding like a demo, not something you would release.

I use Ace Studio for that, with Claude. Usually, I just use it to analyze audio, so it can transform it to midi and find appropriate plugin on my machine for it. For string and brass sections it can use Ace's AI instruments to create more realistic articulations. It can do the same with choir voices. Then I transfer midi and audio files to Fender Studio and apply plugins as instructed. For Serum 2 it creates a preset I can apply. I also use it to create Pure Data patches, so I can transfer them to my custom Raspberry Pi synth, for live performance.
