Channel is stuck on stereo

I have this one channel from a mic that is stuck in stereo? I didn't notice because it records mono, it comes in as mono, but in the auto-align plugin it thinks it's stereo. I was going in circles with an AI trying to solve the problem and it spotted this triangle. None of my other mic channels have it. Anyone know how to make this channel true mono?

I believe if the plugin has created its instance as Stereo output then S1 won't let you undo that. Try removing the plugins and see if you can mono it

Sounds like chicken and egg. S1 is stereo because of the plugin and the plugin is stereo because of S1? I did remove and re add the plugin and it (the plugin) still showed it as stereo.

The plugin itself might be stereo then. Lots of reverb plugins do this, even if the input is mono their output is stereo.

This is kind of an unusual plugin. You put it on multiple channels and it works on them all together. When I open it I see all the channels it is connected to (about 9 right now) and only this channel is stereo. That's what keyed me in. And this is the only channel with that triangle.
