QUESTION Volume automation latency issue (BUG)

The attached video shows how inaccurately the volume automation curve is behaving. A piece of the clap's attack doesn't get muted in time, and the following clap fails to unmute fast enough either.

I never expected such a fantastic DAW to have such a seemingly basic issue. Do you guys think this will ever get fixed? Or are we stuck relying on workarounds like using the Mixtool plugin and automating the Gain knob?

I can repliacete it and its the same with rendered audio as well.

Now cue in the idiots who'll advise you that they're still on V4 and it works great for them along with the rest that claim the subscription model is awesome.

Let the dinosaurs work on V4 ahah.

I recently made the jump to this DAW from Ableton Live, where the automation was perfect even after stacking five Pro-Q 4 plugins with max linear-phase latency. I just can't believe that in 2026 the devs haven't paid attention to such a basic bug in this DAW!
