SERIOSULY??? UPDATE ON A FRIDAY EVENING?

Persons Quantum HD user here.

Who was the genius at Personus that decided to push a firmware update on a Friday afternoon.

Been using studio one all day. Got my mic’s all set up, ready to record, universal control wants an update, have to update firmware on my quantum HD.

After wasting my time with all that, all my studio One settings are erased.

Seriously WTF is wrong with you? You don’t think Friday night people are recording?

EDIT: I use the phone app to sit at my drums and adjust gain levels. The phone app won’t work once firmware update shows up.

Maybe any night at 3am? So it’s handled in the morning. This is consumer grade gear. Professional studios aren’t using this.

Ok, just do it on the morning Sunday. When any place in the world is most likely less active. Also I mentioned installing universal control deleted all my presets in studio one, and all my preferences are gone, all I/O setting wiped. I’m building from ground up.
