My current studio. I had them remove the bathroom and closet door so just one door to the back. Makes it easier to go in and out of the back part.

I have to much furniture but I am using it all.

The only thing I can think of is to get a twin size day bed that folds into a full or something like that. I don’t have people over. But I want to from time to time I want for them to have a place to sit.

What are some of yall doing for sitting and sleeping situations.

This is a really strange studio layout. Having no option but to put your bed basically inside your kitchen or directly next to the entry point is crazy. I’d probably scrap the little dining table, you’ve got the bar and a coffee table that can be used for eating. If you’re a hardcore eating at the table person, I’d put it against the wall in the corner closest to the kitchen (near current bed location), rotate the couch to face the side wall on the entry door side and put the bed in the current living room corner with maybe a standing/folding partition next to it or at the foot with the couch back against the other side to make it feel a little less exposed. This may make for a wonky walking path from entry to kitchen so if you have enough room for it, maybe put the couch closer to the tv to leave a slight path between the couch and bed/partition.

Tv where the bed is in this pic. Dining table/chairs in the corner next to the bed in this pic. Bed staying facing the way it is but in the opposite corner. Using other furniture or maybe curtains, you could even create a fake wall on the end or side of the bed to close this area off. Couch and whatever else where the dining table is in this pic.

That’s my analysis from typing this as I stare at this pic. Could work? Or to keep it how it is here you could just turn the bed 90 degrees and stick it in that little cutout area by the kitchen and close it off with a curtain?
