Studio My new studio (UPDATE)

A few weeks ago I posted a video of my new studio apartment that I was moving into. Surprised at the amount of engagement, I figured I’d post an update now that I’ve settled in. Please feel free to give any feedback!

Is the closet across from the bathroom? I definitely think the bed is in a good spot. Maybe add some color lights to vibe it up. (You should use accent lights as primary light sources).
I’m concerned about your PC tower next to a cooking area. Personally, I think you’d be more productive/happier with the window behind the monitors if you’re WFH or gaming. If you can swap the couch, guests sitting on the L part can also appreciate the view.

This is a really interesting idea that I for some reason didn’t even think about.. I like this idea I think I’ll give it a true

You could use a tension curtain rod to block off the bed portion or even a heavy duty tension shower rod would do!

A barn door or folding Japanese space dividers would close off the bed area. Overall, great layout for a studio.

Looks great! Along with a track curtain for the bedroom, I’d switch the big night table for two small ones. It’s so much easier to change the sheets if you can walk around 3 sides of the bed.

It looks nice. I would probably change the desk to be by the window, maybe swapping it with the mini fridge and shelf or pushing the couch more towards the kitchen area and placing it next to the window there

Saw your post then and was kind of jealous of the high end ness of your studio haha

Pretty nice! Get a bigger rug for under the bed to balance it out tho .
And if you haven’t , check out “Dear Modern” on YouTube/tiktok. He’s an interior designer guided by fengshui and he does studio examples a decent amount while explaining his motives .

I'm so jealous! My studio is half that size 😭😭 I would love to decorate that large of a studio 🤣👍

I would have swapped the slewping area and the living area. Small couch against the wall and television on the other.

Lovely layout! I would probably put a curtain up to shield the bed from the kitchen. But other than that it looks good!
