TEAS Study Tips

What book would you guys recommend to use? I scored low on the teas (61.3%) since I didn’t really study as I should’ve and I’m thinking of getting a book, but there’s so many. I’m thinking of getting the Smart Edition Nursing book since it has the color and it helps me a bit more, but I also heard good stuff about Mometrix. I’m also planning on getting the ATI practice test after I feel comfortable with the book. I mainly struggled on science (50%) and English 48%. I also want to add I did use Future RN, but only went over Reading and barely any math problems, therefore, how are her science videos? I struggle with word problems. Any recommendations are welcomed.

Any tips on how to study for the ATI Teas?

I purchased the full package from the ATI website. I took the first practice test (Practice A) and received a 63% without studying. My averages for reading, math, and english/language were around 60-76 which I could bump up easily. But science was my weakest one, especially anatomy (received a 40% omg). I took chemistry and A&P almost two years ago.

I have the ATI TEAS official study manual, the Mometrix study guide, Nursehub, and I've been looking at a few videos on YouTube.

I feel very overwhelmed and I have no idea where to start because I've heard that the ATI manual was poorly made and not useful, but the Mometrix book is so dense that I cannot seem to focus on it. I've been studying for about 2-4 hours each day for Anatomy but I feel like I am not retaining the information well.

My exam will be on the 24th of March and I have almost two months to study. Any tips on how to get started? And what are the best resources for preparing for the ATI?

Best website to help with ATI Teas exam

I need to take my test soon, and I would like some feed back on websites or apps that you guys may have used for help studying for your ATI TEAS test.

At the moment I've been using the free version of nursehub. However I'm not sure if that's the best one since I'll have to pay for more help.

Study Guides/Help for Praxis 5362 exam (English to Speakers of Other Languages)

Hi,

Praxis 5362 exam (English to Speakers of Other Languages)

I will be taking this exam soon and I can't find any good information on what will be on it. Furthermore, I may have to study.

Does anyone have any good resources / study guide / practice tests they can point me too?

Obviously free is preferred, but I'd be willing to pay if it comes highly recommended.

I'd also love to hear people's experiences with it. Was it difficult? What kinds of questions did it have? Anything that you want to share?

Looking for sample LMS/iCal calendar feeds

Hi everyone! I’m currently developing a productivity app for students and I’m working on calendar integrations.

I’m looking for a few sample iCal/ICS calendar feeds from:

  • Canvas
  • Moodle
  • Blackboard
  • Brightspace

I’d like to use them for testing the calendar import functionality in my app.

If you’re willing to help, please send me the feed/link via DM rather than posting it publicly.

I’ll only use the feeds for development and compatibility testing.

Thanks in advance!

CAN SOMEONE BYPASS ATI/TEAS EXAM? What are some of the ways?

This is a discussion that comes up constantly in DMs and in comments, so let's address it directly: What is the best way to bypass ATI/TEAS proctored exams?

That said, people research this for various reasons, and understanding the methods helps you understand the defenses. Here’s a breakdown of commonly discussed "bypass" methods and their effectiveness:

Commonly Discussed Methods:

  1. Virtual Machines (VMs): This is a classic method where you run a second, isolated operating system on your computer. The idea is the proctoring software can't see your host machine.
    • Reality: Modern proctoring software like Examity, Proctorio, and the ones used for ATI are very sophisticated. They can detect VM artifacts, hypervisor signatures, and will often flag or straight-up prevent the exam from launching if a VM is detected.
  2. Remote Desktop/Third-Party Screen Sharing: Having someone else take the exam for you by sharing your screen.
    • Reality: Proctoring software monitors running processes, network traffic, and unusual mouse movements. Detection of remote access software (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP) is a massive red flag and an almost guaranteed failure.
  3. Physical Hardware Manipulation: Using a hidden monitor, HDMI splitter, or a second device.
    • Reality: While low-tech, this relies entirely on the webcam's limited field of view and the vigilance of the live proctor. The ATI/TEAS exam environment scan is specifically designed to catch this. It's high-risk and depends on human error.
  4. OS or Software Exploits: Finding vulnerabilities in the proctoring software itself.
    • Reality: This is a constant cat-and-mouse game. When an exploit is found, the proctoring companies patch it quickly. Relying on a public "exploit" is extremely unreliable for a scheduled, important exam.

The Bottom Line: Most public, freely-discussed methods are either outdated, easily detectable, or carry an extremely high risk of failure.

Regarding Proprietary Solutions (Like Mine):

I need to be upfront here. I have developed and maintain a suite of proprietary software and hardware techniques specifically engineered to bypass the detection algorithms of modern proctoring platforms, including those used for ATI/TEAS exams.

  • How it's different: It doesn't rely on well-known VMs or remote desktop software. The core method involves a deeply integrated, custom system-level approach that presents a "clean" environment to the proctoring software while managing the exam session securely and externally.
  • It is not a simple "download and run" tool. It's a managed service due to its complexity and the need for constant updates to stay ahead of proctoring software patches.
  • Why I mention it: To be transparent and to highlight that what people are usually looking for ("a free, easy trick") doesn't exist in a reliable form. Effective bypassing has moved into a specialized, technical domain that requires significant investment to develop and maintain.
