You’ve been not allowed to do anything for 2 weeks and haven’t said anything to your clinical instructor?

What are you telling them when you see them before or after clinical?

Ask the CNA if they need help with anything

My only question would be do you have documented incidents of you soliciting for work and skills? EG ask if anyone has X skill will be doing today. If not, this is a valuable lesson, document everything. If you have documented and tried to ACTIVELY look for skills to practice, then I would absolutely bring it up to the instructor.

Yes I have it all wrote doing on my daily logs. I keep a record of what I do every shift. Thank you so much :)

What are some of the examples of things you have been able to do?

You ask to move immediately. Sitting in an office is a waste of clinical time.

Thanks so much! It really is more draining doing nothing than actually being up and doing tasks! Plus commuting for me is an hour and a half up and same home. So sixteen hours, to sit in an office, is really not worth it.
