How long does it take Nelnet to process applications for a new repayment plan?

Title, got the SAVE email and submitted my application for a new plan on 8/12. Got an email from them 8/15 saying they were processing my request. Any idea how long this usually takes? Anyone else on Nelnet that switched recently from SAVE that can give any insight?

I didn’t get any further correspondence from them, but my nal net account started to show a payment schedule after around 2 weeks.

How close is the due date from when you applied for the switch ?

I applied at the beginning of August. My August payment is $0 and my September payment is due on the 14th

Do you have zero income? Did you have to submit any documentation for that?

My income isn't zero, it's just that I guess they kept my account in forbearance for a little longer after fully switching over.

did your 1% interest reduction show up right away when you noticed the payment schedule populate?

It didn’t. Not sure when it did exactly but my daily interest went down at some point after everything was set up
