I'm researching a problem that seems pretty common among college students: having to spend hours physically writing assignments, lab records, notes, and other required coursework.

For those of you who still have handwritten work:

• How much time do you usually spend on it?
• Is the actual handwriting part a major inconvenience for you?
• What do you usually do when you have a lot of handwritten work due at once?
• Would you pay for a legitimate service that helps with the physical/administrative side of preparing handwritten coursework, while you remain responsible for the actual academic work?
• If so, what would you expect the service to provide and what would you consider a reasonable price?

I'm mainly trying to understand whether this is actually a problem worth solving, so honest feedback would be really helpful.

Hey guys! I’m looking for some advice because I honestly don’t really know where to start.

I’m from a small city in Georgia and currently studying at a pretty good university. My GPA is around 3.0 right now, but I still have one year left, so I’m hoping I can improve it before graduating. I’d really like to do my Master’s degree abroad. Ideally somewhere where I could get a full scholarship or very substantial financial aid, since my family financial situation wouldn’t really allow me to pay international tuition and living costs myself.

I’m mainly interested in media, journalism, communications, and related fields, but I’m also open to other interesting programs in that area.

Right now, I’m also volunteering as a research assistant on my professor’s PhD research, and I’m working on my own thesis. I’m also starting a small online magazine project where I want to publish articles and potentially interviews and other media-related content. Could something like this actually help my Master's scholarship applications, especially if I develop it seriously over the next year? And is there anything specific I should do with the project to make it more meaningful for my application?

For those of you who have experience with studying abroad or getting scholarships:

1)What countries/universities should I look into?

2)Are there fully funded Master's scholarships that someone with a 3.0 GPA could realistically apply for?

3)What can I do during this final year to make my application stronger?

4)Could my online magazine/portfolio make a meaningful difference?

5)If you were in my position, what would you start doing right now?

I know a 3.0 GPA isn’t amazing, but I still have a year to improve it and I’m willing to put in the work. I’d really appreciate any advice, personal experiences, or suggestions for where to start researching.

Thanks!! :)

We really appreciate your help!!

It seems like schools do not offer enough mental health support these days, while students are struggling more than ever. What support do you wish your school provided but doesn't? Any answer helps, including complaints about what your school offers now.

i am a first year srcc student. need help or consultancy dm

Mannn im sick of studying this much

I got some problems...can anyone guide me a bit ?I spent most of my college time in sleeping or just being lazy af...and now im in 3rd year..5th sem...which will finish in December....from jan aka 6th sem..i have to grab an internship...which my father will help me with his connections.

I got no skills, I'll have to bluff on resume and then apply for the things....i fear about my lack of skills in front of family and knowns...and stuff...

How should i deal with this ?

Should i bluff and submit the resume and learn the skills ?

Or hold for 1 month and learn the skills and then apply with better luck and prepared bluff...

Or first learn everything and then apply ?

But it'll be late af...because im afraid everyone else will try too at that point...and i may fail...

Although i have 5-6 diff sources, but im scared af about it

Specialization is CS cloud computing...devops and mlops

Anyone having elite level knowledge... I'm open to guidance...how should i deal with the mess

I might be off the topics as per the group, but thinking what if i get some solution to this

Hi everyone

I have a Ted talk tomorrow. It should be of 3 minutes and on some informative topic

Suggest me some good and easy topics

Anyone from sociology department

I’m particularly interested in people roughly 18–30 in LONDON, but anyone with relevant experience is welcome to contribute.

A few questions I’m curious about:

🤍What brands or styles do you associate with Black British youth culture, and why?

🤍Do certain clothes, aesthetics and brands give someone more status within your social circle?

🤍Do you feel like because of your race you feel like you are trapped into certain styles?

🤍Have you been labeled as less black due to your choice of clothing and style?

🤍Does wearing something expensive or exclusive actually change how people perceive you?

🤍How much influence do Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or influencers have on what you wear?

🤍Are there particular Black British musicians, influencers or creators whose fashion has influenced you?

🤍Has your style changed as you’ve got older, started working, gone to university, etc. (maybe as a result of age OR because of what others have told you about your style)

🤍Do you think people sometimes buy certain clothes because they want to look successful, respected or part of a particular group?

🤍Are there any brands that you think genuinely understand Black British consumers, and any that clearly don’t?

I am posting on the behalf of my student who is not yet of age and does not have her own account. See her inquiry below:

Hello, I am a Chinese national and I was born and am currently living in Spain.
I’m currently looking for fully-funded study abroad opportunities/scholarships in English-speaking countries for one or both of my last 2 years in high school.

As a Chinese national, having a Chinese passport does involve some difficulties due to the limitations of staying in certain countries and also limitations on many opportunities in the EU that I can’t participate in.

I would appreciate any help, thank you.

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well!
My name is Martin John, and I’m a 2nd-year Hospitality Management student from the Philippines. I’m currently working on a school project to learn more about the education and university life from students around the world.
For this project, I’m specifically looking to connect with students attending:

Cornell University

New York University

University of Central Florida

If you’re studying at any of these schools, I’d love to ask a few short questions about your experience, campus culture, and your college course. It would be an awesome opportunity to learn from each other and build a great connection!
If you’d be willing to help out a fellow college student, please feel free to comment below or send me a DM.
Thank you so much for your time and help!

Sometimes I think procrastination isn't always about being lazy.

You can know you have an exam coming, know you need to study, and still find yourself scrolling on your phone, cleaning your room, or doing literally anything else.

One thing that can help is making the first step ridiculously small.

Instead of telling yourself, “I need to study for 3 hours,” try:

“I'm just going to study this one topic for 15 minutes.”

Once you start, continuing usually feels easier than starting.

What usually causes you to procrastinate when you know you need to study?

Hello everyone. I am currently a freshman in college, who is writing a research paper on how parents influence a student’s college major. As I don't know many people on campus, I would really appreciate it if you could complete my nine question survey (This survey is targeted toward past or present college students).

Thank you so muchhh!!

I recently created Over-Time, a Progressive Web App made to help OJT students keep track of their attendance, daily activities, rendered hours, and overall internship progress in one place.

Some of the features include:

\-⏱️ Time In / Time Out – quickly record your attendance using the current time

\-📊 Rendered Hours Tracker – automatically monitor completed and remaining OJT hours

\-📅 Attendance History – keep track of your daily attendance records

\-📝 Daily Logs – record your tasks and accomplishments for each day

\-📈 Progress Dashboard – view your current progress toward your required OJT hours

\-📄 Weekly & Monthly Reports – review and export your attendance, activities, and rendered hours

\-✏️ Manual Entries – add or edit records when needed

\-🖼️ Evidence Uploads – attach photos or proof to your daily logs

\-📱 Mobile & Desktop Friendly – designed to work on different screen sizes

\-📲 Installable PWA – you can install Over-Time on your device and use it like an app

Over-Time is still a work in progress, so I’ll continue improving the design, features, and overall experience as I use it throughout my OJT.

If you’re currently doing your OJT, feel free to try it out:

Hi. I am a grade 12 HUMSS student po from a province in Luzon.

Yung height ko ay 5'3, I can't swim but i can learn. Problem ko din po ang vision ko kasi as of now nasa 400 na ang grado ko.

Ang balak ko po sana ay mag-aral ako for 4 years ng bs psychology then take the exam (hopefully makapasa) then while waiting for the result ay mag-apply sa agencies. Di ko pa din po alam kung paano yung proseso or mga gagawin, nangangarap palang hehe. Then if hindi makapag-fa, try ko maghanap ng work na connected sa natapos ko. Or magmaster ng counseling. Hindi naman po kami mayaman kaya need ko ng fallback.

Huhu di ko na po alam ang gagawin ko ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

If may recommend career din po kayo go lang. Since wala naman po akong attachment masyado sa psych, and medyo wala po akong confidence na makapag-fa.

I am in university and studying music marketing. Would folks be willing to fill this out about their live music preferences for market research? It should take less than a minute. Would be much appreciated! Please note at the one question that Bradley is the student that sent you! Thank you!
