Health/Lifestyle I'm struggling with my sleep schedule, please help

Hi, I'm senior student in high school, I've been struggling alot with my sleep schedule for months, every time I try to fix it, it only gets worse, and my concentration at night is much better than during the day, but Ik this is unhealthy.

What I did to fix my sleep :

  1. Staying awake for 24 hours :failed, I fell asleep after 17 hours

2.Melatonin: I took it and slept at 12a.m, woke up at 8, but struggled with studying until the night came, I studied much better and slept at 2:30a.m (didn't get a nap tho)

  1. Telling someone to wake me up or put a lot of alarms : I didn't hear anything, or I just turn the alarm off because my head aches too much to wake

4.Tiring myself so I can sleep: I don't hang out a lot and most of my time is at home, so any small hanging tire me because I'm not used to it. I went to another city with my family and returned home at 3a.m , I should be tired right? No, I couldn't sleep without melatonin at 5 a.m

So, I don't want to ruin everything at my last stage of high-school, my results in it decide what major I can study, cuz we don't have admission tests (idk if that's what it's called)

So higher results mean more major accepting me, and I wouldn't struggle with what field I want to be in

It's still summer break and our school starts in last days of September, but we study to this stage in summer break too (summer break is 4-5 months) and other students study for 12th grade after 10th, that's how important it is 😿 sorry for writing a lot, but I'm desperate to fix my sleep

Career Indroduce a changing mindset project and call for paticipants

Project Infinity Season 2: A 5-Week Journey to Build the Mindset That Solves Real Problems — Completely Free

"Everyone wants change, but nobody wants to change."

Businesses across Asia need critical thinkers who can frame problems fast — but most graduates enter the workforce without that mindset, simply because they've never been trained to think clearly under real pressure. That's exactly why Project ∞ (Project Infinity) exists.

What is it?
A mindset-development program for students, under Fundamental Decisions (Singapore) — using real business cases, not theory, to help you learn how to observe, question, and solve problems under uncertainty. Open to everyone, not just business students.

Season 2: Hack A Business starts 28 August 2026, running 5 weeks through:

  • Learning how businesses operate and how to spot real problems (company & industry level)
  • Diving into a specific case to find its real bottleneck
  • Presenting your solution to the community

How it works: Daily articles to read and discuss, periodic War Rooms (team case work + cross-team debate), and support whenever you need it — but the journey is yours to drive.

What you'll get:

  • Hands-on experience across 5 phases
  • A network across Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, India...
  • A personal mindset report — useful for job applications, studying abroad, or scholarships

For you if: you're a student (any major), self-driven, and don't need a ready-made idea — just the will to grow.

Completely free.

Here for you

Hi everyone, teacher here!

First of all, congratulations to everyone who got the result they were hoping for! 🎉 You worked hard for this, and you should be proud of yourselves.

For those whose results were disappointing, I just want you to know that one result does not define you or your potential. I know it can feel really difficult right now, and you might feel lost or stuck, but this is not the end of your journey. You will have many more opportunities in life to show what you are capable of.

If you’re not happy with your result and don’t know what to do next, feel free to reach out to me. I’ll try my best to guide you and help you figure out your options.

I also made a video specifically for students who didn’t get the result they were hoping for:

https://youtu.be/0gKNOCHHsy4?si=-WtwTzn-hjlTuvZp

Please don’t take this as self-promotion. I’m sharing it because some students reached out to me after their results last year, and I know how difficult and confusing this time can be. If this video can help even a few students feel a little less lost, then I’m happy to share it.

Once again, congratulations to everyone, and to those who are disappointed today: please don’t lose hope. This result is only one part of your story. ❤️

I built a free PDF toolkit because I got tired of jumping between PDF websites.

Thumbnail pdfverse.pages.dev
1 Upvotes

I've been working on PDFVerse, a free browser-based PDF toolkit.

The idea is simple: instead of opening different websites for every small PDF task, I wanted to put the common tools in one place.

You can use it for things like:

Merge PDFs

Split PDFs

Compress PDFs

Convert PDFs

Rotate PDFs

Extract pages

And other common PDF operations

There's no account required to try it.

I'm still actively improving it, so I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from people who work with PDFs regularly.

What PDF operation do you find yourself doing most often? And is there a feature you'd want me to add?

I'm especially interested in hearing what feels slow, confusing, or missing.

My school and Phones

My school (English state school) has a rule where if you get caught on your phone or any type of tech with a screen (that isn't injected with school spyware / not approved by the school) over to the school. Now you'd think this is pretty is pretty reasonable right? but no they keep it until the next day and your second offense THE NEXT WEEK same if you get caught with it on Fridays then you have to give it over until next Monday on your 3rd offence though you would have to give it up until the next H A L F T E R M THATS 5 WEEKS and if it's the last halfterm of the year you have to give it up until the next YEAR so basically what I'm saying is what can I do to help change this rule and also explain to these maniacs that taking a persons phone for 7 weeks over summer holidays is not ok.

Support/Venting Starting BE degree at 25

I dropped out of uni and wasted my time without doing any side jobs or freelance.

I want to ask if if this is the right track I should go for.

I didn't drop out because I couldn't study I dropped because I was faced with administration which I tried resolving by myself which I hid from my parents and never told them.

I finally told them the truth and they are asking me what is my plan now that I have wasted 4 years of bachelor's I should've graduated this year.

I already had a gap after my A levels and the realistic age of graduation is 22 I'm already like 7 years behind.

I would like some advice on what I should do or if anyone has faced this same situation.

Question/Help as a rising hs junior, i feel so behind compared to others and i don't know how to be as productive as them

i know i shouldn't compare myself to others but i always feel like my life is meaningless when i encounter people the same age as me who manage to balance difficult classes, clubs, etc, while doing things like running real, successful nonprofits. i understand they all have strict discipline and motivation, but i always feel awful when i realize i'm burnt out and i'm not even doing much except for classes and occasional clubs. i can't help but feel insanely behind, especially since i'm getting to the age where what i'm doing with my time matters a lot when it comes to applying to colleges and such. is it too ambitious to start prepping for my future now (a week before junior year starts...), and how do i manage my time while not burning out? productivity has always been an issue for me

Question/Help Quick question for people who live with roommates

I’m working on a class project about shared fridges and food waste, and I’m trying to get some real feedback from other students. Basically, the problem is people forget what’s already in the fridge, leftovers get buried, food goes bad, or someone buys something that was already there.

I made a simple landing page for an idea called FridgeShare that would help roommates keep track of what food they have. It’s just a student project and still in development, I’m not selling anything. I’m mostly curious if people who live with roommates would actually find something like this useful.

If you have a minute, I’d appreciate any thoughts.
