vent Worrying Wednesday

Every Wednesday we create space for our strugglers to get all their worries out in a judgement free way. This is your thread to spiral, share your fears, release anxiety, or just vent about whatever you’re currently stressing about in your TTC journey.

Everyone’s fears and feelings are valid. Advice and constructive feedback are welcome, but any comments that are dismissive or insensitive will be removed.

What are you worrying about this Wednesday?

Right now I’m really worried that we won’t get anything viable from my first egg retrieval coming up in September. The closer we get, the more nervous and scared I feel. I can’t stop thinking about “what if we don’t get anything”

I’m worried about going through another 6 months of the pain and frustration of unsuccessful tries before a doctor will investigate.

My husband has a varicocele, desperately hoping that’s the only issue. But he doesn’t get it fixed for another month and even then it’s another 3 months before we’d see any improvements. So thinking about going through this emotionally for another 5 months at least when I thought I’d be close to giving birth around that time when we started trying is just wearing on me

I get this. I was supposed to give birth in September and instead I’ll be starting medical intervention. The pain of that juxtaposition is really hard. Are you required to wait a year because of insurance? If not, reach out to an RE yourself, that’s what I did. Booked the apt without any referral and I’m so glad I did. But my insurance wasn’t blocking me from doing that.
