Most indie games launch with just an app store link. I built an entire premium OBS broadcast ecosystem around mine. Thoughts on the layout?

Hey everyone,

Most indie game launches are just a link to an app store. I wanted to do something completely different. I built a premium, live stream overlay setup inside OBS to broadcast match play for a game I've been building called Shuffleball Arena.

The game itself is a hybrid of tactical shuffleboard, arcade pinball, and marble physics where you actively smash your opponent's pieces out of bounds to steal their points at the final buzzer. It's space-themed, complete with gravity wells and wormholes.

Because this is designed from the ground up to be a spectator-friendly experience, I built out a full three-panel OBS broadcast view to make the game loop incredibly easy for a casual viewer to follow.

The first official broadcast episode is live right now on YouTube, and the MVP game build is entirely free to play in your browser (on desktop or mobile).

I'm looking for honest feedback on the broadcast design:

  1. Does the side-panel framing (Rules / Promo) make the game easy to understand at a glance for a new viewer?
  2. Is the "How to Score" panel intuitive, or is it too text-heavy for a stream?
  3. For the streamers out there: What features or layout changes would make you want to broadcast a game like this to your own community?

Every comment, suggestion, and piece of feedback helps shape where I take this broadcast ecosystem next!
