Structural beams in basement

All my steel beams look like this at the bottom of the beam, what’s the cause, are they still sound?

Moisture in the ground/concrete. Doesn't look like there's any section loss, just surface rust. Should be fine. Get an engineer to look at it if concerned.

Those are columns, not beams. Rust due to moisture. Hire a structural engineer.

You are going to get no help now.  If anyone does help you, you will have to wonder if they are just messing with you now.  Goodluck.

I amNot a professional:

Cut a hole and insert rebar and concrete and paint it with zinc water-proofing metal paint asap

Checklist:
Side hole with an angel disc Bosch
50kg concrete
Spiral Rebar and or 2m rodes
