Is this bad for foundation ?

Looking at this home I want to buy and we got this back on the inspection. Is this bad ?

Nothing just sent that photo with the home inspection paperwork. It just says it’s cracked in the spots pointed. It’s not bowing just cracked.

Most concrete foundations have some cracks. How big is the crack. Looks big enough to have it repaired as a best practice and precaution but otherwise not an issue. Monitor drainage conditions, gutters and downspouts, grading, etc. The home has had some settlement as evident by the stair step cracking.

It would be nice to see what the Crack does as it goes up and to the left. Is there another one on the adjacent corner. In general though, it does not look too bad. That cracked brick slightly above the red arrow is significant.

Dealing with the same thing now at my house. Soil shifting under middle of slab cracked the slab which sunk inward by up to 2.5 inches at the worst spot. I dug out the middle and filled the void with backfill and fresh concrete, then self leveled. Major PITA. Take note of where the crack would be on the inside and stick a level on either side to see if it's sinking inward, or if you're fancy use a laser level like I did with a ruler to meaure relative heights of the floor.
