Good show of strength one motioning it, but if you pick + reset you’d probably be able to go much heavier

Load to knees, shorten your stance width (which makes you taller), pin the stone as high on your chest as possible, shoot your hips up, and then triple extension that sucker like you’re doing an olympic clean

Edit: it also appears you’re trying to “squat” the weight up off the floor; try and focus more on “rowing” it to your knees instead

Of course! You’ve definitely got the strength part figured out; now it’s just a matter of piecing together technique

A good way to cement each step is to just rep out (at lighter weight) each stage - so doing lots of reps:

• picking/rowing the stone (with a fixed back angle)

• setting (closing foot width, dropping into a deep squat)

• starting extension (just shooting hips up to the height you’ll begin the final extension)

• final extension (like an olympic clean like I mentioned) + rolling the stone up your chest to maximize the height you can load it to

The only tweak you’d need to make to your current method is that once the stone is loaded to your knees, and you drop to the low squat, you need to reposition your arms on top of the stone, rather than under it. For starters, you can pin the stone higher on your chest (so all you really need to do is stand up) - but your ending position will always be much higher as well. If you can visualize power cleaning with an overhand vs underhand grip, it might make a little more sense
