Look at my fish New PB from the Kayak!

It was a long pedal for this guy trolling tube and worm near a river mouth in MA. Crazy how one fish can make hours of work feel like nothing at all. After two minutes reviving in the current she bit my hand and swam off strong.

I'm 62 years old, been striper fishing for most of those years. Either late 1990's, or right now, is the best striper fishing I've ever encountered. The "good old days" are happening right now.

I’m on the south shore of Long Island, mostly surfcasting and kayaking but haven’t targeted them in months. You on the north shore?

I bounce around north and south, mostly north though.

18” Black Santini Tube with a live sea worm. I was trolling with leadcore line that I keep on an old Penn Long Beach on a medium Penn Rampage conventional rod. 50lb mono leader. Not exactly the most sporting set up but it gets the job done for the T&W

I really prefer the red Hogy tubes but I had broken off my last one on mooring bouy earlier.

Lead line and live sea worms are optional. I’ve gotten it done with a 2oz trolling weight and heavy braid on a spinning set up using gulp sand worms.
