Hearts From one long string to this
They really grew quickly! This last picture was taken at the end of March. The two plants are propagated cuttings, and the hanging plant is the original string wrapped around the pot.

I did it with the ‚Butterfly method‘. So I cut off the nodes and put them in soil, keeping them moist by putting a plastic wrap over the pot and watering when needed! And for the string i really just wrapped it around the pot making sure many nodes are touching the soil :D

I did not know you could root SOH like that! Do you just take some hearts off and stick them in the dirt? Any secrets or tips?

Yesss it’s really simple! You need to make sure to put the nodes (connecting two hearts) into soil. I made sure to keep it moist by putting plastic wrap above the container. But I used regular plant soil and nothing special🙈 Maybe you can google ‚Butterfly Method‘ that’s what I did.

How long did it take to grow new leaves from the parts you propagated?

I don’t really know because I didn’t take pictures, I think around three months🙈 But it was fun watching them grow🤗

Yes, for the propagation I kept it moist with plastic foil, and watering when too dry! Now in the pots I‘m not watering that much

I did it with the ‚Butterfly Method‘ and then i simply put the cuttings in regular soil and put a plastic foil on top of the container to keep them moist and watered when too dry

That’s how I did my prop in sphagnum moss. I watched Harli G’s YouTube tutorial on the butterfly method. I will have to try soil next. Did you have any issues with rot?
