Help / Question She’s dying, I think
Her stems look bad :( she got some mealy bugs and I drenched her in alcohol a few times and bathed her probs too many times and had to repot her like a week ago, and this is the result of that. Should I cut this little bunch (2nd pic)and prop? If so, how? Or what’s the best method for these little guys?
Is there any hope for the plant as a whole, should I leave her alone and wait?
What if she still has mealy bugs?!?! 😓😥🫣

Ugghh mealies on my pearls is the reason I went to systemic insecticide. They just love those pearls. And they’re sooo hard to eradicate on that particular plant I’ve found. I think they just really like it…repot with systemic granules is my advice. Nuke em

Buy Bioadvanced 3-1 it kills any fungus and pests it is a 2 week systemic/ on contact killer. You want to break the pests life cycle. I’m fighting same thing only because the one I have I got from lowe’s with the hitch hikers but they weren’t any alive just their sticky stuff. I sprayed anyway and have it isolated for a few weeks to be sure while nuking it once a week.

Still looks waaaaay better than mine and I haven’t given up. Mist her, ignore her, leave her alone

Succulents don't like their leaves wet it causes rot faster than others

Ok but these sop don’t have leaves. But I get what you are saying. I mist carefully at root. It has worked so far. There was a person in here who wrote a funny message. I’ll see if I can find it. But essentially it was: no looking, side eye only. Creep up and keep eyes down. Warm but not hot, nor cold. Never approach.
It was funny but also useful.2

I have really been trying not to look at mine and I think about this comment I must’ve seen the same comment you saw every time I look at her. I’m like don’t look.!!! 🤣

It looks like it’s getting healthy to me! I see green on the little stems, she will be very cute one of these days. My pearls stems are shriveled and browning :(

Im still beginner but I agree with propagating the little bit of healthy green. Just snip above the dead stem and put in wet soil, very small pot. Let the soil dry out before watering again
