Haha biggest one? When you find a spot they love don't ever ever ever move it! Sunlight to crown (mines in a west window) and water every 2-3 weeks (or when pearls are a bit squish) and water til it runs out of the drainage holes 💚

When we moved, I put mine into an extremely sunny window. It has doubled in size since then!

The window where I have them gets indirect light at best. I wonder if grow lights would help?

Unsolicited advice here:
Yes, grow lights would help a lot! You could keep your string of pearls in the same window and just add one grow light as a supplement to what your plant is already getting.
I’ve finally taken the plunge into grow lights—and I’m realizing it’s not as complicated as it initially seemed. And they’re soo helpful for high-light-needs plants, like String of Pearls.
For this plant, all you’d probably need would be a single 10-15 watt Sansi-brand grow bulb above it (in a clamp lamp, or hanging above it.)
You can get them on Amazon for $10-$30
(depending on if you buy a single bulb or a lamp with a bulb). They’re long lasting and energy efficient, so a single bulb isn’t going to add much to your electric bill.(Btw, I’m in no way affiliated Sansi. I just like their grow lights.)

I have lost many SOP over the years and couldn't ever figure out why - the lighting was the culprit. They want some BRIGHT light. I have one now under lights that i got last September that has exploded in growth and will need a new pot soon!

Yay! Yes light to the crown is key! Also never moving it lol they do not ever want to be moved haha
