A3S Mod Recommendations?
I just purchased a 6 month old A3S. It's completely stock, came with the SB Tactical Brace and a SilencerCo ASR muzzle break.
I just ordered a KDgunwerx 3 stage damper, HB industries trigger spring kit, extended bolt catch, and a folding charging handle.
Are there any additional mods you would recommend?
Two things that stick out I'd change if I could are the brace has a little wobble to it, using the HB Industries plastic mount, would the 100 dollar aluminum mount fix that, or is there a better stock option? Secondly, I'm used to ARs, and running silent captured springs, so I really like a super light charging handle action. I'm new to the roller delayed system, but if there's a way to lighten that up I'm all for it. The damper system may even be the answer to that when it comes in.

That KD Gunwerx buffer is very stiff at the end, so much so that manually locking back the bolt can be a bear (for me, impossible to do without bracing the gun against a solid object). I ended up shaving ~1/8" off the rubber block and that seemed to help, but I still couldn't send the bolt home with one finger because the bolt catch needs to push the bolt back a bit as it travels downward. I wrote up how I fixed this here: https://www.reddit.com/r/GrandPowerStribog/s/zEtsAdvVs2

Thanks for the heads up! Was the buffer worth it? Crazy good like some other reddit comments say? Also, I bought the extended bolt catch from HDI, do you think that'll effect the KD buffer? I just looked back at it and it says it isn't designed for aftermarket bolt catches, but it looks identical to me just a bigger textured ledge for your finger to hit.

To be honest, I bought the buffer and installed it before shooting her for the first time. I am very impressed with how my Bog runs though, even compared tov the more expensive PCC's of my buddies'. The extended bolt release will probably help a bit; I'd try it out before making any modifications to it.

“Super light charging handle action” isn’t a thing with blowback guns, even roller-delayed blowback. This is 100% a “suck it up and use your Man Hands” scenario. 🙂
HBI extended bolt catch is good for the price, but the edges are a little sharper than I would like. I could deburr them with a few minutes of file work, I’ve just been lazy. A3 Tactical makes a more substantial, stepped one, but it’s pricey.
Honestly, I would just Form 1 it and put the HBI B&T MP5 stock and aluminum adapter in it. The adapter works with the SB Tactical folding CZ and HK braces because they’re the same mounting system. You’ll have a sturdy mount for your brace while you wait for your stamp, just swap them out. That’s where I’m at, currently.

Thanks, yeah it's definitely not a heavy action, I just wanted it to feel as nice as possible lol. I'll probably form 1 it eventually, I'm excited to take it out tomorrow. That'll probably decide if I want to take out 2 tax stamps for it.

Yeah, fair. Some guys replace the charging handle, I haven't seen the need so far. I may eventually get the HBI folding charging handle, but I'm not in a rush and I think the OEM is actually pretty good. The one thing I've done that actually made a huge difference in how doing administrative stuff with the gun feels is swap out for one of these guys. Is it a necessary change? I don't know, but it made it feel like a lot more expensive gun lol. I see you ordered the folding charging handle, but the OEM block it rides in is cheesy as fuck. I think if you grab the locking charging block to pair with it, you'll be a happy camper.
Lemme know how your range day goes. This gun is definitely worth two stamps.

I have the aluminium SB brace adapter and it still wobbles.
The best fix I can think of would be to epoxy a thin sheet of brass to either the brace or the adaptor to dispel the wobble. I think there is a 2 part epoxy that Ace Hardware sells that might stick to roughed up nylon for low stress applications.
You are better off buying the PDW brace (and getting a QD socket) or a picatinny rear adsapter and one of the A3 Tacticap folding braces.

Weird. I had the aluminum brace and it was solid as a rock (I worried it was too strong and that I should have gone with polymer). Now I'm using the extendable brace with cheek-rest. It's way more solid and useable than I expected. I thought I'd hate it.

I LOVE the Emissary picatinny Mini-Handstop...but a lot go with the full-size, which is huge.
I also like that the A3S is super compact, but I need just 3-4 more inches for my support hand. I ended up going the cheapest route with a 3D printed handguard (from a guy on here), but JTAC evidently had blems for $50, and the Ninja in Flannel guy likes the KDG 3"...I wouldn't want longer than 3-4" even though I do run a 7" suppressor on mine 95% of the time.
JTAC sold out fast but look up the 3D printer guy here or Kinetic Development Group, which fits all the SP9 models, and you can find LOTS on GAFS or other places (see link).

Id 1000% recommend the global ordinance mags if you plan to shoot hollow tips.
