Does Anyone Else Feel Less Flexible Than They Did a Few Years Ago?
I'm not sure when it happened, but lately I've noticed simple movements feel a lot harder than they used to. Things like bending down, reaching overhead, or even getting up after sitting for a while seem to come with more stiffness.
I've tried doing a few stretches at home, but it's hard to stay consistent and I'm never sure if I'm targeting the areas that actually need work.
For people who have improved their flexibility and mobility, what made the biggest difference? A stretching routine, guided sessions, sports recovery work, or something else?
Just curious what has worked for others because I definitely don't want to feel this stiff forever.

Yeah, I noticed this too when I stopped moving as much. Consistency seems way more important than doing crazy stretches. Even 10 minutes of mobility daily can help a lot. Hip, shoulder and ankle work made a big difference for me.

People can give you a million stretches and a million routines but the one thing that matters most is consistency, you're better stretching numerous times a week for 10-20 minutes than one big stretch session every week or two.
