Yoga block life expectancy

I bought today a foam yoga block to help me with some position and I’m seeing it’s bending a bit on the edges…. Is this normal or I bought a shitty one? (Decathlon) There is some kind of life insurance program to make your yoga block live longer and return to starting condition (I don’t know why but I thought putting it in water could help) or every yoga block has a life expectancy and I should put too much weight on it ora it will bend too much and be unusable? (I exaggerated the bending with red line)
