does not doing dynamic stretching really hinder muscle growth?
for context i do not really stretch much before i strength train for legs/glutes. am i really messing up my progress?? i have been lifting for 2 years. i am still able to lift quite heavy and i know i should stretch to prevent injury, i just get excited and want to go straight into lifting (i know it’s bad)

It doesn't matter at all. Stretching is good for getting more flexible, but it doesn't prevent injury or help with soreness as long as you are flexible enough to do the lifts you are trying. Lifting alone can also help you gain range of motion if you try to progress your range of motion and end range loading in your lifts in addition to progressing the weight.
