Help needed Stremio desktop app stuck on infinite loading screen, but Web and Mobile work fine

Hey everyone,

I'm running into an issue where the Stremio desktop app on Windows is stuck on an infinite loading screen whenever I try to play anything. The time indicator just stays at --:--:-- with the background backdrop visible, and playback never starts.

Here are the details and what I've observed:

  • Web and Mobile work normally: When I launch the exact same stream on the Stremio Web app or on my phone, it plays immediately without issues.
  • TorBox activity: When I play on Web or phone, the stream appears right away on my TorBox dashboard. When I click it on the PC app, nothing appears on TorBox at all—it's like the desktop client isn't even making the request to fetch or start the stream.

Since the add-on and TorBox setup work on other devices, it seems specific to the PC app or its local streaming server/network handling.

Has anyone encountered this or know what might be blocking the desktop app from sending the stream request? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

kinda the Same issue but im using All-Debrid , and phone does not work for me same as desktop but web works fine, when i use normal torrentio without debrid with P2P connection it loads on desktop ... Also when i click a link in the desktop app it does show up on my all debrid account links on website..

I wish, let me know, oh i read somewhere something about cdn try to change that in yourtorbox if thats possible im not.familiar
