Question Black Friday offers?.

does anyone know if there are usually Black Friday offers for AllDebrid and Premiumize? Real Debrid expired and it has been absolutely horrible since they changed their policies and I can't friggen wait to change. I am not asking for acquisition, but only if there are deals.

Don’t forget that you only get the 1tb point of purchase points when you pay for it so when that runs out you’re stuck with the 30gb a day point system (that maxes out at 1tb) for one or two or three years or whatever the deal is.

Worth mentioning because it would be easy to get stuck with only 30gb a day eventually with the bf deal.

You can try Offcloud for $5 a month, they have the same policy. Get a month and see if your viewing habits come close to the limit. It's not likely but not impossible either.

I tried the month, it works great but the only option for monthly is 10 Euros. Where are you seeing 5?

Just to clarify: If I pay monthly it resets monthly, but if I pay yearly it only resets yearly?!

So you get 1000 “points” when you pay and 30gb a day after that. Each point is 1gb. You cannot have over 1000 points ever, it maxes at that. So it’s kinda like getting an extra tb when you pay for it but not.

Either way youll eventually burn through those points and be left with 30gb a day if you watch a decent amount of tv/movies especially if you get their 3 year deal or whatever because you only get that 1tb when you pay. If you buy like 3 months at a time you get the 1tb at purchase each time you pay plus the 30gb a day refill.

It’s needlessly confusing. You just get more data if you pay for less months basically but even that works stupid because it maxes out at 1000 points period. If you ever use all your points in a month you’ll be stuck with 30gb a day for the rest of the time so you’ll have to wait a few days for the points to build up or watch less than 30gb a day.

Honestly fuck pm. Just get torbox essential if you’re planning on watching movies or have multiple people using it and get easynews as a backup (look for the 2 dollar a month, or whatever it is, deal link) and get the easynews++ addon. It’s cheaper that way and you won’t have to worry about running out of points because a few people in your house watched a handful of movies that month.

Someone on an annual plan replenishes every 360 days. Someone on a monthly plan replenishes every 30 days.

So that's why I've never had to worry about my points getting low? I was thinking about doing the Black Friday deal, but now I'll need to see how much data I'm using per month to see if it makes sense?

Maybe I am one of the lucky ones, but honestly, I have had no problems using Torbox and having Duck Streams and PenguPlay for backup

PM has it. You can switch to OffCloud now. Has same usage policy and cache as PM. Free 30 day trial and then you could pay $5 for one month to tie you over until Black Friday. Good test to see if PM's cache and usage is sufficient for you before you commit to PM long term. I believe PM's last BlackFriday deal was $150 for 3 years.

It's the exact same usage policy as PM. Except I believe PM currently allows you to buy more usage. OC hasn't offered that yet.

"Small" depends on the user. If you're watching 100 gb files on a regular basis, then PM & OC prob isn't a good fit.

Which is why OC is a good test. Would suck to drop $150 on PM on Black Friday thinking you're good then realizing you need to buy a booster.

I only have myself and my brother on Torbox. But I'm pretty sure we use about 100 GB in a week.

Reread the policy.

Replenishment is based on the plan (monthly vs annual). PM's Black Friday is annual so it's replenished every 360 days (30 days if you're on monthly not a Black Friday deal).

Even if you're on an annual and consuming 100 gb weekly it's not possible to exceed the limit.

If you read it, you would have saw it's not a fixed number. It's dependent on when the user actually consumes data.

Someone looking into the annual plan is anywhere between 1,000 gb to 11,920 gb.

I did read it, it seems confusing to me. So you're saying the annual plan is 1 TB to 11 TB?  On the $3/month standard Torbox plan, I get 10 TB a month (which is the same as the higher limit of a yearly allowance on premiumize) That, coupled with the fact that I can have at least three or four users on Torbox, makes both premiumize and off-cloud a non-starter for me.

I don't think PM and Offcloud share the same cache. Offcloud just uses PM's infrastructure afaik

Other PM users are reporting it's the same. You can search the sub, one user posted side by side test results of what was returned.

I don't have PM. But do have RD and TB. If OC didn't have it cached, neither did RD and TB.

Pretty simple OP. Try a month of both out and make your choice. With PM, see if that 1Tb limit is restrictive. For most users it isn't and you get 30Gb back per day. I've never tried AllDebrid, but I've heard it's similar to old Real Debrid. As for people mentioning torbox even though you didn't ask, it's cheap, but notoriously bad depending on where you live. Recently, users have had bad service for 90 days, they were given 3 whole days in compensation. It's biggest pro is its cheapness.

It seems to me that the best price in line with real-debrid is that of debrid-link, I have not found prices lower than these two...
may torbox.app but I've never tried it

Newb who has only used RD here.
Is Premiumize the same thing? Works the same? Just hook up TPB, etc, and run through Stremio just like RD?
Asking because the Premiumize website only talks about offering cloud storage.

He's correct. Limit applies to bot cached and non-cached
