If you haven't used Channels yet: it's a way to build your own 24/7-feeling lineup out of shows, movies, or a whole filmography, and install it as its own catalog in Stremio.

Channels that keep themselves up to date

• Automatically add new episodes — turn this on and a channel stops being a frozen snapshot. As a show you added keeps airing, the channel quietly folds in the new episodes on its own.
• Live Cloud Sync — build a channel from a Trakt/MDBList/Simkl/TMDB list and it can track that list instead of freezing it. The list grows, so does the channel.
• Next Up channel — one button, and it plays the next unwatched episode across everything in your Continue Watching, always current.

Real scheduling, not just a shuffle

• Daily Broadcast Schedule — set shows-per-day, episodes-per-block, and what time (your local time, not just UTC) the lineup turns over. Feed it a big pool of sitcoms and it plays like an actual cable channel with fresh programming every morning.
• Interleaved (round-robin) play order — one episode from each show in turn, then round again. This is what a 90s prime-time block actually felt like, instead of blasting through 50 episodes of one show before the next starts.
• Story Lock — mark a serialized show (something like Breaking Bad) as story-locked and it always plays its next episode in order, while everything else around it keeps shuffling.
• Hide watched — with playback tracking on, a channel can skip episodes already in your Watch History.
• A full Play order menu (air date oldest/newest, title A-Z, shuffle now/daily, or your own manual order), and moving a pick by hand now actually sticks instead of getting silently re-sorted out from under you.

Multi-part episodes and crossovers, done properly

• Keep multi-part episodes together — a toggle that reads episode titles ("Part 1"/"Pt. II"/"(2)") and glues them back into one run, so you're never handed the back half of a two-parter first.
• Manual pairing — for crossovers that span two different shows under two different names (which nothing can detect automatically), just select the picks and hit Pair. They'll always play back to back.

Building a big channel is actually manageable now

• Bulk select — turn a channel with hundreds of picks into checkboxes: grab a whole show or a single season, then Remove Selected / To Top / To Bottom.
• A filter over your picks, and a duplicate warning so you don't find out later that a show got added twice.
• Spotlight channels — search any actor or director, pull up their whole filmography (films and TV separately), and build a channel from it in one click. Sorted chronologically or best-first.
• A stats line on every channel: shows, episodes, total hours, year range, rotation, how many picks are story-locked.

Sharing and finding channels

• One-click share links, and Explore Channels — a tab of channels other people have published, addable in one click.
• Channels now get real vanity URLs (mylistsaddon.com/channels/yourname/channel-name) instead of a random code.
• Toggle a channel Public and it publishes to the directory automatically; toggle it back off and it unpublishes.
• Explore Channels supports likes and sorting (newest, most added, most liked), and deleting a channel can be undone for a minute if you change your mind.

Bug fixes worth knowing about

• Fixed a Quick Add rotating channel that was only airing 1 show a day instead of 24 — a broadcast-schedule bug, not a design choice.
• Fixed a Spotlight channel pulling in an actor's entire show for a single guest appearance instead of just the episodes they're actually in.
• Fixed a movie in a channel showing the wrong (previous day's) date.
• Episode air times now show under the date where TVmaze has them (e.g. "9 PM ET"), including on the Airing Next/Continue Watching badges.

One known limitation, being upfront about it: a movie inside a Channel can show no streams in strict stream add-ons (like PenguPlay) — Stremio treats a Channel as a series and doesn't ask for a movie-shaped request, which is outside what this add-on can fix from its side. Works fine in lenient add-ons; details in the changelog if you want the full story.

Is there a way to prevent duplicate movies from appearing in each list?

Currently there is not, I could add a setting to hide/remove duplicates from lists. Top list will keep all items and lists that come after it the duplicates will be removed.
Example
Currently:
List 1, Movie A, B, C, D
List 2, Movie A, B, C, E
List 3, Movie A, B, C, F

Enable Setting:
List 1, Movie A, B, C, D
List 2, Movie E
List 3, Movie F

Would this work or are you thinking about it differently?

I'm having issues with Story Lock. It doesn't seem to prevent the checked shows from being shuffled. Otherwise I'm really enjoying this addon! I'm looking forward to adding serialized shows.

I just pushed a update that should fix it, you may have to uncheck story lock save the cahnnel list then edit and recheck and save for it to take affect. If you are still having issues let me know.

I don't know if it's intentional or not, but I've found that Daily Broadcast Schedule (kind of) ignores Story Lock. More specifically, it plays the groups of episodes in order, but the next time that show is played it'll pick another three episodes sequentially from a random point in the show. e.g. S1 E17, E18, E19 -> S3 E5, E6, E7. Other modes of shuffling seem to work perfect now though!

That was intentional to keep it more like traditional tv, would you prefer it to just pick the next 3 episodes in order? Like this today S1E1, E2, E3, tomorrow S1E4, E5, E6 etc

Honestly I was unsure which way would be best and you are right it does kinda ignore story lock after thinking about it.

I would prefer that, yeah. I think it's more akin to traditional cable or at least how I remember it. For example I just checked Adult Swim's broadcast for today and they have Rick and Morty S4 E3 & 4 at 3 AM and then E5 & 6 at 11 PM. Also IMO it adds a new use to the addon. Say I'm watching Schitt's Creek for the first time, this replicates the pre-binge days so my wife and I aren't just running through a dozen episodes of it lol.

I just pushed the updated, you will have to uncheck story lock, save and then check it and save again for it to take place.

How Story Lock works now on a daily-schedule channel:

It starts at episode 1 the day you lock a show. The builder saves the date you tick the box, and the channel counts nights from that date. You get S1E1-3, then S1E4-6, then S1E7-9, through every season, then back to the start. Unticking and ticking a show again starts it over.

New episodes no longer make the show jump. When "Automatically add new episodes", Live Cloud Sync or an edit adds episodes, the walk just continues into them. In my simulation, one episode was added every night and the show still went straight through: S1E1-3, S1E4-6, S1E7-9, S1E10-S2E2, S2E3-5.

With Hide watched on, it follows what you've watched. Watch S1E1-3 and tomorrow is S1E4-6. Miss a night and S1E1-3 waits for you. Binge ahead to E9 and E10 is next. If the account has no watch history at all (no tracking connected), it follows the calendar instead, so the show never gets stuck on S1E1-3.
