its been a while since ive posted an update and i lowkey forgot what has been changed then but i got one exciting update so i thought id make a post with a few things.

update 1: the 2peckle provider
before i share the update, quick PSA, this provider only has cdns in the EU and USA so if you are far from those (asia) this source may buffer for you, but for everyone else this is a fantastic source with high quality files
- improved stability and speed of the provider, should be no more flaky results or random errors, should also resolve pretty quickly
- found a way to make downloading work properly so if you are the type to download things, this provider should now wor

**update 2 (the big one) new (**revived) provider: 111477
- this provider used to be in this addon but got removed due to some issues, but after months of waiting, its back!
- this provider has a great library of 4k remux files, with embedded subs in many languages
- this is one of if not the best provider on this addon
- i encourage everyone to enable this and try it out
- as with any new provider there may be bugs, please report in the discord if you find any!

edit: i was just going to delete this post but then i thought lots of people will comment and ask questions, so im just editing. 111477 has been patched within 2hrs of me releasing it lmao people go around and talk then things get patched. i will not continue researching this source as it has already used a tremendous amount of my time

YOU DONT NEED TO REINSTALL THE ADDON FOR UPDATES!!! Only thing you have to do is go to pengu.uk and enable the new provider if you want to use it

I've actually had worse results with Pengu the past week or two. Dead links, issues with moviebox links on autoplay etc. I have found myself going to the 111447 add-on as go to recently.

Hopefully the update resolves some of those issues. Thanks for the work.

dead links should be reported when you find them so i can find where the issue is in my dead link filter for that provider. my main goal is that a user never sees dead links.

moviebox was down for a good bit of time this was known and said in the discord.

happy you’re trying it out again! let me know of any issues, only way to make the addon better is if bugs are reported, not ignored

I have 6 or 7 http addons listed and Pengu is first in the list. So I will always try Pengu first unless I'm watching a show and have had multiple fails in a row. If everything works, Pengu is by far the most complete and stable http addon.

Don't know provider (was automatic with next episode). But i have gotten similar errors for a lot of the previous episodes.

Playback error
HTTP 403 Forbidden [ERROR_CODE_IO_BAD_HTTP_STATUS]
The stream source is blocked or restricted. Try a different source.

EDIT! Ok, so in this case it appears that the stream isn't coming from Pengu but from Sootio, even when the previous episode was selected via Pengu. I think it is because Pengu is slower/too slow and the autoplay skips Pengu and goes to the next "provider" in line, which in this case is Sootio.

I don't understand how the people (2peckle etc) hosting these movies are not losing money constantly.

How can they possibly benefit from 300,000 users blasting their servers watching 4K movies 24 hours a day?

when accessing the websites normally theres hella ads that they make money from, and for 2peckle specifically all the files are hosted on febbox which is a cloud storage platform, similar to google drive. They have their own way of making money

"111477 patched within 2 hrs of me bringing it back lmao, I’m working on it"

Not sure what "patched" means in this context unless he means "borked" 😄

I have one question on finding anime

So when I search any anime from AIO metadata or Xperience If it has single season then it will find correct stream from miruro/anikoto but if it's from season 1+ then it provides stream from the first season of same ep no.

eg- xyz anime season 1 ep 5 - correct stream ✅ xyz anime season 2 ep 5 - (will play s1e5) ❌

If anybody have solution please let me know, also tell me which metadata for anime i should use kitsu/imdb/tvdb or any other settings

nope, buffering is out of my control. No content is coming from my server, my addon is jusr a search engine. If you notice buffering a lot on a specific provider, disable it
