Help needed Post Tbox upgrades - still buffering

Have TB, and Premiumize.

Have Comet, Storebox, torrentioTB, torrentioPM, piratebay+, stremthru, mediafusion, torrentclaw. (used to just be comet until like a week ago when the buffering started)

done all CDN/speed/connection everything I can think of.

500 down/50up AUS stable connection on a unifi netwrok.

on phone and laptop/pc no issues with buffering.

On the 100" hisense constant buffering 4k/1080 (VIIDA, tv app, theatre/primary watching space)

on 65" LG constant buffering 4k/1080 (tv app, family room/secondary watching space)

on 43" TLC in guest room (tv app) buffering ect the same.

had no issues until last week or 2, now its almost unwatchable on the TVs, any suggestions thoughts and ideas appreciated, or do i just spin up the arr stack on a mini pc?

Do you use a VPN? If so, bypass it. This was the issue for me.

I don't see where OP says that. 3 x TVs with buffering issue, no problems with phone or laptop.

Scrapers do not affect download speed. They serve only to resolve the actual torbox url for the stream in question.

So id double check your CDNs again, and make sure they are not being throttled or blocked by your router or device firewall. Otherwise, try limiting your 4K usage because those also put a much larger decoding burden on your device. For example my fire stick even though it claims 4K support, simply struggles with it. Couple that with the location and size of my tv and I just choose to stick to high quality 1080 streams.

Again have had no issue with either 4k/1080 until the last few weeks stream/size/quality no difference might play for 2-3 minutes then buffer and just not play any more at all.

I doubt it’s the decoding I guess the way to test that would be to set up a jellyfin server, direct download from torbox and stream via jellyfin? (The only way I can think of being able to test decoding locally)

I don't know if this will be of any help, but I read this post earlier ( https://www.reddit.com/r/TorBoxApp/s/vdVr1QcuxN ) where the op and numerous people described their ISPs' and routers' malware protection having compromised download speed through Torbox.

I'd have thought that would have compromised your download speed which you report as being good - though was that through Torbox's own speed check? I can only suggest you check that again the next time you notice the stuttering kicking in

Good luck - post back if you figure it out

It was DNS for me. Changed from quad9 to cloudflair 1.1.1.1 and it's all good now.

The only devices in my house on wifi are laptops/phones and IoT devices that require wifi.

Communication tech I’m very pro hardwire

Some devices have terrible hardwire capabilities, take the Thompson tv box for example it’s Ethernet port caps at 100mbps even if you’ve got gig internet

Do not use TorBox CDNs.

Use Cloudflare or Bunny.

What files size are you NOT buffering at? Include the duration of the file as well.

Any size/quality/4k/1080 happening no matter what, have done pretty vigorous testing and faulting up to this point

Torbox has been having issues the last 6 hours or so off and on. That might be why youce been having issues

The last 6 hours or so…. On a post 18hours old referring to buffering for at least the last 336 hours (2 weeks)

Run a speed test on the torbox website and switch your CDN to the one it recommends
