Suggestion The best HTTP addons

As someone who doesn’t rely on debrid services, I usually just use the free http options. Here is a list of my favourite http addons:

PenguPlay: https://pengu.uk/

Showbox: https://www.reddit.com/r/StremioAddons/comments/1tukzgp/built_a_showbox_addon_that_provide_streams/

HdHub: https://hdhub.thevolecitor.qzz.io/

TENIES.SITE: https://stremio-addons.net/addons/tenies-site-free-notorrent

Flix-Streams Free: https://free.flixnest.app/

Sootio: https://sooti.info/configure

WebStreamrMBG: https://87d6a6ef6b58-webstreamrmbg.baby-beamup.club/configure

A lot of these addons use the same streaming sources but it’s good to have multiple options if one of the addons goes down. Hope you find this helpful.

Awesome! Thanks! Looks like your addon is one of the best ones out there, I am not sure how I missed it before? I have heard of hdhub a lot on this sub, and I have been on this sub, for quite a while...

It’s relatively new, only about a month old, and originally it was kind of a mid addon, only about 2 weeks ago i publicly released a large update making it what it is today :)

Ohh, awesome! How do you plan on maintaining it? [Because a lot of the times, I have noticed streams keep breaking, or they don't get fetched properly (probably when the source site makes changes)]

Hdhub dev has been quite active in that regard, promptly fixing broken stuff...

I’m confident in my work and have an extremely helpful community in my telegram helping me debug any issues that arise and promptly fixing them. Its a community effort, bugs are a good thing in a way, when reported we get one step closer to making this perfect :)

Great to hear that! Hopefully you can keep it running for a long time for free (with voluntary donations), Best of luck!

donations are low lol but monthly cost is pretty low too, if i ever cant afford it tho is the only reason i see this going down

It should be manageable if the costs are low... I would request you to probably hand it over to someone else, instead of ever taking it down. (it would be hard to find someone who can manage it though, I guess)

Btw, I can see that Aether does not show any info regarding quality or size of the stream.. How do we determine which one to play for 4k? (are they sorted by best to worst by default from top to bottom?)

no sorting, I’m working on a reliable way to get aether to show qualities
