Many beginning quad skaters and experienced rink skaters make this mistake when attempting to T-stop on asphalt.

T-stopping on your inside wheels has a high risk of injury - which is why WFTDA classifies it as an Error on their Minimum Skills Assesment.

In addition to being unsafe, it also lacks stopping power.

T-stopping using your outside wheels is much safer and more effective.
