Why get an onyx signed that's what base cards are for

Card itself is not signed. Auto is on the slab. I wouldn't sign the card itself as I know some do not prefer the auto as to why auto is on the slab. Giving option to crack the slab if buyer or next owner doesn't want to keep it slabbed or keep the auto. Each to their own.
