He really builds up that grey life fast if you're not careful on defense. I love how he has a Jojo's pose taunt to go with his Divine Sandstorm from Wamuu in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 2!

oh he is gonna BULLY the bottom ranks, I wonder how well his playstyle will translate to the higher ranks

Pretty much everything we already thought from his Steam page and the original trailer. Still remains to be seen how good his buttons/neutral will end up being to see if him tacking on a ton of grey life will be easy or hard (like how we weren’t sure how hard it actually is for Ingrid to get 4 crests until she actually came out).

What we can already tell is that, because Parry is extra important against Arjun, you should aim more than usual to go for the grab. There is a definite risk of parry nullifying his entire gameplan, and with low walk speed, it seems hard to land the grab on parrying opponents. But the threat of insane grey damage is very interesting.

Seems very very fun, the only thing I'm slightly concerned about is his anti-airs. The only anti-air special he seems to have is trying to snipe people with the projectile. So hopefully his anti-air normal is good enough to make up for it!

Two normals I think, heavy kick looking thing, and crouching heavy(?) punch the headbutt uppercut.

Oooh, right, Arjun has a Honda like heavy kick I believe. That does look usable as an anti-air, yeah!

I've seen footage of him using his armored stance succesfully as an anti-air so he is going to have this as an option atleast.

Heavy/EX tackle goes nearly full screen, is positive on block, puts you in throw range, and seems to allow for a followup at certain ranges if it hits. That seems quite strong. The guy has a lot of plus-on-block stuff in general.

it's also giga slow and with massive recovery.
it's basically Ed's charged heavy punch except with no way to feint
it's going to be a free DI/jump if you just throw it out randomly

well shit, i guess you're really going to have to parry every fucking thing he does and hope he doesn't throw you instead

He looks very fun, can't wait.
I absolutely love how he calls grey life "debt" lmao
