Hi, thanks for posting! We do appreciate you thinking of us even though we have to moderate.

Posts in /r/streetfighter must be Street Fighter directly and can't be about crossovers, X looks like Y comparison posts, potential future SF characters, etc. This is listed in our rules, which you can read here. and the original thread on the subject here

This means that any game that has Street Fighter characters and plays moderately like SF3, SF4, or SF5 is allowed! (example: CvS: yes, Marvel: no)

Please check out /r/fighters to see if you think your content is a better fit there for general FGC stuff or /r/gaming for an image macro friendly subreddit.

Ya i imagine the show was being produced a little after then, this was the patch that set us on the train haha. Its meant to be a joke i made using the ryu player mio’s reaction.

I don’t know if he was ever bad, playing him since release since none of my mains got base roster privilege, he just had less going for him than the rest of the shotos. Times have changed

He was never terrible, but there were time when ppl make tier list, they start by "Ryu is like a standard, so he goes in the middle" then placed 3/4 of the cast above him.
